The City of Montgomery and Montgomery Clean City Commission designated June Cleanup Month for residents in Council Districts One (1) and Three (3). Residents can take advantage of special garbage and trash removal services during June, including removal of nearly all items – even up to 2 tires – placed behind the curb on regular trash pick-up days without extra charge. These services exclude collection of loose leaves, dirt, building materials and tree branches exceeding four feet in length or eight inches diameter. For the full schedule of district cleanup events, tips for organizing a neighborhood clean-up during the 2018 Great American Cleanup and more, visit the Montgomery Clean City Commission’s website, www.mgmc3.com, or call (334) 625-2175. The Montgomery City Council, the Sanitation Department, as well as the Montgomery Clean City Commission, remind residents now is the time to cut down, trim back, clean up and throw away.
On June 5, voters across Alabama will support candidates for governor, congress, the Legislature and many other offices
This is a NOTICE that all registered voters who vote at the Frazer United Methodist Church precinct should be aware that the polls will NOT be set up in Wesley Hall but rather in the North Gym. Frazer will be conducting a regional conference and there will be no parking available in the parking lot off of Burbank Drive.
Voters will be able to park in the rear parking lot accessible by turning on Landmark Drive (between Frazer and the gas station), or in the small lot off of Landmark Drive. There may also be a few spots available in the lot in front of the breezeway in front of Frazer. (Turn at the light across from Tenda Chick, turn to your left and make an immediate right turn.)
