For those Montgomery residents with smart phones, you now have a new and easy way to report problems in your neighborhoods with the Montgomery311 app.
Residents can download the app on an iPhone or Android-powered device, register and then using the app’s map report issues such as potholes, tall grass, fallen trees, burned out street lights, graffiti or a missed garbage pickup.
The Montgomery311 app allows residents to integrate with the City’s QAlert system giving them the ability to send photos and a description of the service request.
The city of Montgomery’s planning department says that the QAlert system provides automated routing, ensuring that a request for action is quickly forwarded to the right person at the right city department.
The services also allows residents to log into the app and keep track of pending submissions and their responses.
