This website is provided by Lake Forest/Mitylene Forest Homeowners Association, which is responsible for the neighborhood entryways as well providing a community forum to exchange ideas and information with neighbors, elected representatives (city/county/state) and Association officers. The Association promotes awareness and security among the residents of Lake Forest/Mitylene Forest and acts as a unified voice of the members at meetings such as zoning and planning commission hearings to protect the rights of property owners against improper residential or commercial development. By doing so, the association protects and enhances property values.
Association membership is voluntary and affordable ($40/year) but is relied upon to maintain attractive neighborhood entryways, mail membership statements, purchase advertising for the biannual neighborhood yard sale, maintain this website as well as miscellaneous expenses incurred by the Association.
